Dell has not tested Inspiron 1420 for Windows 8 .Therefore you will not find Windows 8 drivers for NVidia 8400m GS card.
I see that you have upgraded to Windows 8 you can go ahead perform the Windows update for getting the latest driver update for most of the hardware on your system.
